Zürich Tourism: Quality Management
Quality in Tourism
The main Swiss touristic associations, including Switzerland Tourism, the Swiss Tourism Federation, Gastro Suisse and hotelleriesuisse, started a joint program in 1996 to launch a national certificate of quality.
Zürich Tourism holds grade III of said certificate – the highest degree of quality – and serves as a point of contact for quality management in the touristic region of Zurich.

Within the framework of the Sustainability Charter drawn up by Switzerland Tourism, Zürich Tourism has been certified according to ISO 9001 (Quality and Process Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) since 2010. This quality management has given rise to an integrated management system with sustainably defined processes.
