Touring Packages Grand Tour of Switzerland

Touring Packages: Zurich – St.Gallen – Graubünden – Lucerne – Zurich
The regions of Zurich, St.Gallen, Graubünden and Lucerne offer idyllic nature, magnificent Alpine scenery, creative city life, fascinating culture and refreshing experiences. The spectacular route covers approx. 725 kilometers (450 miles). The main “Long” section leads from Zurich to Thusis along the Grand Tour, after which it leaves the original route. From Thusis, it continues via Andermatt, Brunnen, Gersau and Weggis to Lucerne, and then back to Zurich. This journey through four different regions promises stunning views and varied landscapes with beautiful mountains and lakes.

City Tours for Individuals

Zurich offers a variety of attractive guided city walks and sightseeing tours. Individual and guided excursions are also possible to its charming surrounding region. Our tours are available in many different languages.

Stories of the Old Town (Guided tour, 2 hours)
Zurich’s past and present, based on selected buildings, history and anecdotes.

Zurich & Surroundings (4 hours)
Zurich’s major attractions and an excursion to its nearby region. Aerial cable car up to “Felsenegg,” with a fabulous view of Zurich, Lake Zurichand the Alps. Includes a lake crossing by ferry.

The Other City Tour (3 ½ hours)
Guided city tour through trendy Zurich-West, traditional residential areas, the university quarter and the historic Limmatquai. Swiss chocolate can be bought at the outlet store of the Lindt & Sprüngli factory.

Segway City Tour (2 hours)
Guided city tour on the new environmentally friendly and electrically powered Segway. Includes driver training (driver’s licence required).

The Best of Zurich (2 ¼ hours)
By air-conditioned coach: Swiss National Museum, Limmatquai, Opera House, St. Peter’s Church and Lake Zurich.

Rickshaw Taxi Tour (1 hour)

Zurich is the ideal gateway for excursions into the surrounding region and the unique Swiss alpine world. Some of the most beautiful alpine peaks are accessible within 1 – 2 hours.

Rhine Falls (3 1/4 hours)
The Rhine Falls are the largest waterfall in Europe and offer a magnificent spectacle all year round.

Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe (11 1/2 – 12 hours)
Unforgettable excursion to the Jungfraujoch – on the Top of Europe, designated by UNESCO as a natural “World Heritage Site of the Swiss Alps.” Short stay in Interlaken.

Mount Rigi (9 1/2 hours)
The “Queen of the Mountains” offers a panoramic view of the Alps, numerous lakes and over the midlands. Short stay in Lucerne.
